Oakshore Park Streets and Utility Project Update 09/11/07

Phase I (Europa Ave. and 126th area):

The first layer of Blacktop pavement has been placed on the roadway. Arcon Construction will begin exposing manholes and water valves as time allows.

Driveway aprons will be paved during the week of September 17th. Once the driveways are paved, Central Landscaping will begin sod restoration.

Phase II (Ethan Ave, 126th and 126th Ct.):

(Ethan Ave.) All utility work has been completed along Ethan Ave. Arnt construction will begin sub-cutting the roadway and placing Class 5 gravel to re-build the roadbed. This work should be completed by September 14th.

(126th St. and 126th Ct.): Arcon Construction has started the installation of mainline sewer on 126th St. and will be continuing down 126th Ct. this week. Once the sewer main has been completed, the water main will be installed. Service stubs will be installed shortly thereafter. We expect this work to be completed around October 1st. Roadwork and yard restoration, including gravel, paving and sod should be completed by October 15th.

City staff has been in contact with the WBL School District bus office and notified them of the construction. The bus office is making the necessary adjustments to limit the inconvenience.
